Lucy and her mom Shayna were awesome to work with this past weekend. Lucy did amazing as a first time model, responded really well to all of the new we were putting her through, and she got the cookies she deserved. Here is a little more from Lucy's session on Saturday!

Did you know that I offer Boudoir Sessions as well? I love boudoir for how empowering it can be. It is linked with thoughts of having to be for a significant other, but that’s not true! The best part of these sessions is how confident you walk away, how gorgeous you feel, and how much fun you’ve had! If you think you are “too ________” to participate, let me prove you wrong. These sessions are for any of you ladies, no matter what label you have given yourself. On Friday night I got to meet Tasha and her pups Ruby and Molson. Ruby is an 11 year old Bernese Mountain dog and Molson is a 13 year old Shitzu. These guys participated in my soul project of senior dog portraits. They were a blast, and even with Molson being deaf, we managed to work with him to get some adorable portraits of both. Thank you Tasha for allowing me to capture your beauties. Last night I went down to Mohawk Park in Hamilton and met up with a repeat client (so much love for Deirdre!) and her pup Gibbs. Gibbs is a Bernese Mountain Dog and he will be having his 9th birthday this week. Despite the heat and the bugs, he was a good sport, and showed his enthusiasm for his time in the spotlight to be over with a good roll in the grass at our feet. Its a pleasure to be asked back to photograph more members of the furr family, and I always enjoy catching up with clients. Meet Gibbs! I got to meet and photograph Chelsea a few weeks ago, and I am so thankful for the chance. Miss Chelsea was diagnosed with bone cancer, and soon after had her leg amputated. She was a sweet sweet girl, with a great big smile. Unfortunately, Chelsea's fight ended yesterday. Her family lost one of their own, their friend and loved one. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to photograph Chelsea for her family. This is why I do what I do, to give families something to last alongside the memories. Rest easy big girl. A couple of weekends ago, I met up with Rob and Miko in Soper Park for an early morning session. Miko has been diagnosed with cancer on his back foot, so Rob is keeping him comfortable with a booty to protect his paw. Miko is still full of life and managed to sneak in a dip in the water when he was supposed to be staying dry. These two best friends were just so lovely to capture. Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Mike and Sara's big day at the gorgeous Whistle Bear Golf Club. It was a day full of laughter, love, and friends, and they were a delight to photograph. Here are a few sneak peeks of their day, enjoy!
In October of 2013, I had the extreme pleasure of being asked to come along with a stunt crew and photograph a National Geographic Explorer, George Kourounis. He was preparing for an upcoming expedition to Turkmenistan to see and go inside the Darvaza Crater, also known as the "Door to Hell".
These images were taken in Elora, Ontario, and I can still not express my gratitude for those involved and those who got me there. Wow! Thank you all who have shown so much love for this session. In a matter of days it has already been shared 95 times, liked 705, loved 210, 19 wows, and commented on 112 times. This is the most loved session I have EVER had on social media, and it is thanks to you lovely lovely people. I have decided to share the remaining images here for you, Thank you all so much! (Ben-green halter, Connor-red striped hlater, Mac-bright red halter, Cash-dog, Niles-cat) I would like to let all my clients, current and future, that as of January 5th, 2018, standard session fees will be increasing from $125.00 to $200.00. This price change comes from rising overhead costs, the soon purchase of better equipment and printed products, and the addition of each session receiving a 8x10 print of their choosing.
I am hoping with this price increase, I can give you better end products through higher quality images, high end quality, mounted prints, and a wider range of printed products, including canvases and books. Images will now be printed on deep matte photographic paper, mounted to provide rigidity, heavier weight, and durability. I hope that I am able to provide you with better service, quicker turn around times, and hopefully spring a increase in printed products to proudly display in your homes. I would love to hear your feedback about this change, and I have updated the pricing lists and have displayed all of the coming options for printed products under the "Info" tab. Also, if there are any products that you would like me to look into having, please let me know! I would love to improve and give you what you want! In the end, this comes from a need and desire to give you, my fantastic clients, more!
