They grabbed a basket of balls at the driving range, and the owner said, "you won't have time to hit all of those, the storm will be here in half an hour". And he wasn't lying! The clouds came rolling in and the rain just started to fall for his last drive. We had enough time to get to our trucks and put everything away before it came down like a sheet. This picture has so many pieces for me, the curve in the driver from his swing, the tee still hasn't hit the ground, and the ball is still in flight. And the rain drops falling down. When I shot this, I don't think I had felt a drop yet! Look closely and you will see all these things that made this picture perfect for me.

Hey there! I know I've been sharing images for a while now, but I don't think I've ever shared about myself! I think it's time for an introduction, because I want to give you a better understanding of my business! My name is Ainsleigh, and I'm an almost 23 year old photographer from Cambridge, ON. Most clients would describe me outgoing and willing to do anything to get "the shot", and I'm sure my friends would agree, but I think they would also add caring and just the right amount of fun! I am passionate about portrait photography, because it allows me to show who you are, capture you, your family, (and even your pets!) as they are in this moment. I want to do my best to give you something that you'll treasure. Most weekends you'll find me at antique markets with my love Dalton, looking for an old camera to add to my collection, and on special occasions you'll find me by a bonfire with some of the best people I know. I want to, and look forward to getting to know you more, so hey! I work best late morning, or in the evening when my sweetheart is home from work. I neeeed my laptop and a cuppa tea to get anything done! I love working from my bedroom where I feel coziest, with lovely light coming in through the huge windows. I also love to edit when Dalt is beside me because he is great to bounce ideas off of and get opinions from. With four cats, it can be a challenge to get anything done, but I sure do my best! Feel free to comment below and tell me more about yourself or what you would like to see from me! I love to surprise people. I love to surprise them even more with images of things they love. Yesterday, I finally got to unveil the birthday present a special someone didn't know she was getting, and I can happily say she loved it. Dalton and I were very happy to give it to her, even though it was a few days late. Here it is, finally, for everyone else to see! From the Birthday Girl- "Having a talented niece who loves horses is the best. Thank-you Ainsleigh Ferguson for a wicked picture of Skor. I know a few people were involved in this surprise gift! Thank-you Blair Johannes.(for the great dinner to get me out of the way) Maddie Johannes and Dalton Seed I know you guys got put to work to thank you, can't believe I had no idea." |
