If you saw my bedroom in the last 8 years, you would know I have a fascination with eyes. In my angst years, I drew them all the time, and most of those sketches are still hanging up.
Lately, I have been taking this old obsession and giving it a new lease on life, with a little more sophisticated twist, I hope.
This series involves looking into the eye of a horse. Not to see what they see, but to see what makes them see.
I will be posting those images as soon as I am done shooting, but for now, here is a shot that I have been getting a lot of - the reflection of me shooting them!
5 weeks ago, I took home a baby girl from my other job at Pine Hollow Stables. She was around 24 hours old when her mom abandoned her, and she has been with me ever since :)
This was her during her first week home, and below is her today. She has turned into a bundle of claws and teeth, wrapped in an adorable fluffy package. We haven't decided on a name yet, so if you have an suggestions, let me know! You can also see more of her on my instagram, @fotoferg
